Time will heal wounds (Poem #61)

They say only time can heal wounds,

But what happens when time isn’t enough,

when a heart is broken,

and nothing you say,

nothing you do,

will ever undo what they did to you?

Do you give up?

Fall apart?

Or do you let time show you who really deserves your heart?
